Soldering and Joining Metal

By demystifying the design and creation of jewelry in a fun and supportive atmosphere. You will learn new techniques and improve on the fundamentals of metalsmithing like forming, sawing, drilling, soldering and stone setting, while designing your own personal pieces. During this one-day workshop, you will have the opportunity to set stones to different pieces: rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, hair sticks or other. You can work with silver, copper and brass. Materials (metals, stones) will be available for purchase from the instructor, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Resource information will be given at first class.
