Beginning jewelry-making students can continue learning in this workshop which focuses on creating a sterling silver pendant with a bezel-set cabochon stone. Students will further develop their fabrication skills, including drilling, sawing, piercing, filing, multiple soldering techniques, finishing, and setting the stone. All materials will be provided: sterling silver, copper (for practice), cabochon stone, saw blades, solder, and sandpaper.

In this hands-on workshop, students will first be introduced to creating their own fused glass cabochons using colored, transparent, opaque, and dichroic glass, with copper and silver inclusions. Sign up for the second session to learn metalsmithing techniques to create a unique large-format prong setting or bezel in sterling silver for their favorite glass cabochon. Each session is sold separately.

Beginning jewelry making students will learn the fundamental techniques for designing and fabricating a sterling silver textured band ring. Students will learn how to texture, file, form, solder, sand, and polish the ring. All materials will be provided, including sterling silver, copper (for practicing techniques), solder, and sandpaper. A materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor on the day of the class.

Beginning jewelry-making students can continue learning in this workshop which focuses on creating a set of 6 textured bangle bracelets. Sterling silver and copper will be used. Students will learn to further develop their fabrication skills, including measurement, texturing, filing, forming, soldering, and tumbler finishing. All materials will be provided, including sterling silver and copper (in different shaped wires), solder, and sandpaper. A materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor on the day of the class.
