Fold Form Leaf Earrings

  • Motherbrook Arts and Community Center 123 High Street Dedham, MA, 02026 United States (map)

Time to turn over a new leaf? Actually make a leaf out of metal and turn that leaf over many times.  This is the workshop for you if you are intrigued with the idea of learning to1) create an organic form 2) reduce some anger you might have (intentional hammering is good for the soul)  3) have an experience to working metal that is both exciting, challenging  and rewarding.

You will be introduced to and practice basic soldering and annealing, a variety of hand tools and basic good workshop practices.  Let’s see how far you can take this. Make earrings, a pendant or the start of something more.

Beginner or intermediate, novice or experienced, this will meet you right where you are.

Initially we’ll use copper and you can move on from there. Materials will be available for purchase.

When:  June 13 & 27 | 6:30PM- 9PM

Registration Deadline: June 5th
